Established in 2016, Credit Investments focuses on non-Investment-Grade debt investments across private and public markets. The European team, based in London, comprises of c.10 investment professionals and invests across different sectors and countries within Europe.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Intern, Credit Investments, you’ll:
Provide support to the credit investment teams during all phases of the investment and lending process- Help with investment screening (preparation and presentation), financial modelling and accounting analysis, industry and sector analysis (qualitative and quantitative), transaction due diligence
- Be given the opportunity to participate in investment decision process, preparation of investment recommendation memos and post-lending portfolio monitoring
- Support in monitoring the financial markets and the portfolio
- May be asked to participate in special projects during your internship
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program (or recently completed one)- High academic achievement
- Intermediate to advanced ability with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Ability to navigate a fast-pace environment with a high level of autonomy
- Demonstrated initiative and curiosity to look beyond surface facts and conduct comprehensive, fact-based, value-added research
- Attention to detail and rigorous approach to research, analysis and documentation
- A respect for differences of opinion and an inclusive mindset
- Interest in Investment Management and Credit as an asset class
- Effective communications skills and fluent English, both written and spoken
- Investment and financial statements experience an asset
