Job Overview:
The intern will report to and mentored by the Construction Manager / Marine Operations Manager on the assigned project. It will offer the intern an opportunity to become familiar with offshore construction business, installation methodologies and types of offshore operations and to learn the different phases of a large offshore construction project.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Develop of engineering methodology and supporting engineering documentation for the offshore lift of a subsea structure (including engineered lift rigging assessment, preparation of detailed lift plan, etc.)
- Liaise with Engineering and Draughting departments as required to support the delivery of the assigned task
- Assigned task may be revised to better suit project's and candidate's needs at the time of the assignment.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Earning a bachelor degree in mechanical, civil, ocean or subsea engineering
- Be proficient in MS office suite
- Ability to work as a team member
- Good communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
- Punctuality and professionalism
- Availability to be present in the office during the normal working hours for the duration of the assignment
