Job description
We are a busy Architects and Interior Design Studio looking for an ambitious and motivated Freelance Interior Designer to help us on a number of residential projects on the lead up to Christmas.
Based in St Albans, Hertfordshire. This is a 4-6 week contracted position with permanent possibilities.
Main responsibilities:
- Contribute to the creative design direction with construction and technical knowledge transforming the concept design into detailed design.
- Producing detailed technical drawings.
- Dealing with changes that might come up during the project
- Source products, e.g., fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, decoration, fabrics, and dressing
Essential Requirements:
- Educated to degree-level or equivalent qualification in Interior Design, or similar
- Experience in high standard interior projects, preferably in residential industry.
- Good standard of written and verbal English
- AutoCAD and Sketchup proficiency
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge in Photoshop, InDesign and Lumion.
- 2 + years Interior Design experience
Job Types: Freelance, Temporary contract
