Interior Designer
Uskuri Theobald Architects are looking for a talented Interior Designer to join Uskuri Theobalds interiors’ team.
Uskuri Theobald Interiors is a division of Uskuri Theobald Architects. We offer design services from concept designs, 3D modelling through to techinlcal designs and implementation on site, with a strong focus on residentially-led projects.
Working closely with Architects and wider design teams, we design interiors that complement our architectural design and exceed client expectations.
The successful candidate must have an interest in residential interiors and already have a working knowledge of the different design stages.
Summary of main responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day to day running of projects/elements of projects within the parameters agreed by the Director.
- Uses imagery, sketches and models to communicate and present ideas
- Assists with creating and delivering project concepts and designs.
- Coordinates with suppliers as required
- Contributes to internal team meetings
- Demonstrates competent design and/or delivery skills
- Manages the day to day budget for aspects of the project for which they are responsible
Candidates must have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Approx 1-2 years’ experience in an interior design role
- Interior Design degree level qualification
- Proficient user of AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop & Microsoft Office
- Proficient in Sketchup and either Lumion or En-Scape is a must.
- An eye for sketching would be advantageous
- Highly organised with a flair for design and creativity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well in a small team
