House of Bohn is seeking an Interior Designer to join our team! *Must be local to Vancouver, BC.*
The highly acclaimed Interior Design studio, House of Bohn, located in Vancouver, BC is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Interior Designer to join the team! House of Bohn is high-energy, loves collaborating and is proud of the amazing talent that makes up the company.
We are looking for an Interior Designer that can work on multiple high-end projects simultaneously (residential, hospitality AND multi-family design). This is a full-time position and only local candidates should apply.
Job description:
- Work with the design team to produce innovative, highly creative and bespoke interior design projects
- Support the design team by drafting thorough and detailed construction drawing packages
- Coordinate with external team such as architects, mechanical, electrical and structural engineers
- Source finishes, furniture and FF&E
- Model spaces in Sketchup, InDesign and Photoshop, or other rendering programs
- Work collaborative and independently to achieve project deadlines
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Must be local to Vancouver, BC
- Minimum 5 years’ experience
- Hold a Degree or Diploma in Interior Design
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD software
- Knowledge of Sketch-Up, Photoshop and InDesign
- Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and millwork packages
- Understanding of BC Building Code
- Familiarity with Hospitality, Retail and Residential Design
- A keen eye for detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team
- Must have a positive attitude and be enthusiastic
