The Role
As a Product Migration Programme Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the migration of our existing system to a new SaaS product. You will ensure seamless transition, developing a robust deployment and launch plan.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Tech and Product teams, to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Develop a comprehensive product migration & deployment plan, outlining tasks, timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and communicate project progress, updates, and challenges to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may arise during the migration and deployment process.
- Ensure the successful launch of the new SaaS product while adhering to quality standards and meeting client expectations.
- Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment, driving productivity and innovation within the delivery team.
Essential
- Proven experience as a Product Migration Programme Lead/Manager
- Experience of Product launches
- In-depth understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to create and execute detailed migration & deployment plans, considering technical, operational, and business aspects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to make well-informed decisions under pressure.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile frameworks.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work culture.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile certifications) is a plus.
