The interim MD will manage the Salesforce CRM, working with internal and external technical and commercial stakeholders to evolve the CRM platform, ensure integrations (and any further migrations) are successful, and to ensure uptake in adoption and correct usage of Salesforce.
The individual will lead a function of ~25 colleagues, with 7 direct reports. The role will support a workforce of over 500 people. The key objectives of the role are:

This interim role of Managing Director, Transformation and Operations, will lead NextGen’s operations and governance, as well as transformation and change management.
The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to deliver excellence in sales operations, driving speed, visibility and accountability across sales teams, supporting sales around pricing, forecasting, pipeline management an order processing. The MD is responsible management of our lead-to-cash process, and ensuring Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) is under 60 days.

The role includes responsibility for NextGen's daily business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for critical business processes including information security, procurement, business continuity, data privacy and supplier / contractor onboarding, as well as day-to-day finance and HR operations.

Lead a best-in-class operations, governance and transformation function to support business efficiency, revenue growth and the implementation of NextGen’s brand operational model- Stakeholder in major transformation initiatives, through a central programme office, working closely with stakeholders on delivery
- Adopt shared approaches and pooling of resources where required to simplify, standardise, focus investment and drive excellence across customer and colleague experience
- Deliver robust and accurate sales reporting, forecasting, dashboards and pipeline management, to increase visibility on performance
- Ensure ongoing mapping, consolidation and improvements in lead-to-cash process, supporting the sales process from lead gen to contracting to order management and debt collection
- Support, develop and document Salesforce CRM, ensuring sales teams adopt processes, tooling and new features effectively
- Support sales teams with robust pricing model and practices to drive BoB growth
- Lead risk, information security, privacy, supplier & contractor onboarding, and business continuity for NextGen, working with central functions, to ensure compliance
- Map, track and consolidate all programmes and BAU activity, ensuring oversight and co-ordination of key projects
- Collaborate with NextGen’s senior leaders to support investment decisions, drive strategy, increase profitability, and positively impact customer satisfaction
- Work hand-in-hand with HR to deliver excellence in HR operations and to support new and ongoing people initiatives
- Build excellence in business and finance operations, partnering with commercial teams to provide central support to drive growth
- Build an inclusive culture, recruit and develop diverse talent, and develop, mentor and coach to facilitate great people succeeding
- Support ongoing M&A analysis and activity
Experience
- Extensive experience leading complex, multi-disciplinary transformation efforts, required
- Proven results in leading and driving change in operations across global, multi-industry teams, required

- Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to communicate a compelling vision, required

- Sales operations and lead-to-cash experience, required; experience with driving growth through pricing and reducing aged debt, preferred
- Understanding of compliance, information security, risk and data privacy requirements, required
- Experience of running a Programme Management Office (PMO), required
- Broad line management and leadership experience of Business Analysts, Programme Managers, Sales and Business Operations professionals, and CRM teams
- Understanding of global B2B information services, required
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Advanced degree, MBA or similar, preferred
- Change management and/or project management accreditation(s), required
