Job description
The post holder will directly support the Divisional Management Team (DMT) with the overall management of the various Support Services, which includes the Central Booking Team, Validation, Administration and Reception teams.
They will also support the delivery of elective recovery & validation, specifically with responsibility for delivery and reporting of the validation programme and national Referral to Treatment (RTT) times.
Responsible for the line management of the Central Booking Manager and team, Validation supervisor and team, Reception Manager and team, and other admin staff as determined by the needs of the service including allocation of work, training and development, staff appraisal and recruitment and selection.
Lead on and responsible for the delivery of the Validation programme of the Active, Outpatient Follow up and Planned waiting lists and work with clinical and administrative stakeholders to refine the programme to maximise its impact on achieving an accurate waiting list position.
To work with the Divisional Teams to ensure all patients on an elective pathway are processed in accordance with national and locally agreed timescales. To ensure the Trust’s compliance with national/regional/network targets relating to RTT.
To coordinate, facilitate and support the organisation, measurement, analysis and reporting of the delivery of all aspects of RTT services including clinical care, financial improvement, management and administration to enable the trust to meet local regional and national standards of care.
