Job description
You’ll support the commercial development and engender future growth of the Reckitt UK health brand portfolio by managing the new product development projects from concept to market activation. You will be working with multi-functional project teams to ensure project is delivered on time and within scope. You will be responsible for building and managing project timelines, estimating and managing budget and resources, managing risks, monitoring progress and communicating status to stakeholders and upper management.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
Management of all Health Local Heroes innovation projects for production with 3rd party manufacturers; ensuring innovation projects are brought to life in a timely, efficient and agile manner as per our Local Heroes HUB operating model.
Project management of internal or third party NPD/EPD launches for the UK health brands by leading the cross functional team from early product concept to in-market activation.
Where a project is driven by third party innovation, Lead the interaction with the third party and be the single point of contact between them and the development team.
Where a project is driven by third party innovation, to work with the development team to understand the capability of those parties in meeting Reckitt requirements across safety, compliance and quality, as well as in substantiating medical and regulatory requirements for bringing a product to market.
Ensure all parties involved in delivering project are held accountable for completion of actions on time and to required standards and resolve any arising issues (with support as required)
Establish, communicate and continually manage project expectations and progress with team members and key project stakeholders via meetings, presentations and monthly status reports.
Lead cross-functional alignment meetings to address specific project challenges/issues
Prepare and present project status and risks to upper management
Apply influence to better align other functions to agreement of overall business objectives.
Resolve conflicts and build strong working relationships within the project teams.
Use appropriate delegation/ influencing techniques as a vehicle to deliver project actions.
Lead project updates together with GBMMs (Global Brand Marketing Managers) towards key stakeholder forum updates, including Red Flags (change to risks, resourcing, schedule) and Stagegates

2-3 years + experience within an R&D /technical innovation or retail innovation environment and in managing projects
Good understanding of market, consumers & competition in the area of FMCG products.
Experience within Health or Medical Device industry a plus.
Experience managing 3rd parties and associated contractual obligations
