Interim Head of IT Operations Bristol, England
Job description
You will be responsible for 3 direct Support Managers across Applications, IT Service Support and Infrastructure leading a Team that has just gone through a process of change and reorganisation.
Your main role will be to:
- Provide effective assurance and governance.
- Ensure IT Delivery across service desk, desktop, infrastructure, databases and applications
- Driving a culture of continuous service improvement
- Build effective relationships across the service
- Ensure IT project delivery
- Ensure delivery against IT and digital strategy
- Be a subject matter expert for IT Operations across ITIL
- Be a leader.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Leadership experience at Head of IT or IT Operations Manager level
- Strong change management skills leading a service towards a value-led cultural change
- Strong project and programme management skills (Prince 2 or MSP ideally)
- ITIL Certification
- Delivering improvement initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
This role will be 2 days in the office in Bristol and 3 days working from home on a hybrid basis.
Day Rate: £750 - £900 per day via Umbrella Company
