Finance Assistant

Our client is currently seeking a Finance Assistant for a newly created role. Reporting directly to the FC you will be involved in a range of areas within the finance function, gaining considerable exposure in a brilliant sector.

The role
· Responsible for posting and matching all purchase invoices, purchase orders and bank reconciliations.
· Stock control reconciliations.
· Assist with payroll.
· Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
· Supplier account reconciliations.
· Contribute to a process of continuous improvement.
· Assist with month end and year end close procedure.
The person
· 1-3 years’ experience within a finance role – salary will be dependent on experience.
· Meticulous attention to detail.
· Someone who is eager to progress and learn.
· Competent use of an accountancy software
· Proactive attitude with an interest in the commercial aspect of a business.
Remuneration
· £25,000-£30,000.
· Performance based bonus structure.
· Study support is an option.
· Degree of flexibility regarding working hours.
