A leading manufacturing business is now looking for an InterimFinance Director to join the team in South West London on a 6-month contract paying £100,000 pa and starting immediately.
This Finance Director position would suit a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, AAT etc.) who is looking for a contracting position close to home in South West London and with strong knowledge of IFRS/UKGAAP, experience with producing monthly management accounts, preparing budgets and forecasts, and experience overseeing financial operations for multiple sites. This hands-on operational role has arisen due to internal promotion would suit someone with good commercial awareness.

As the Finance Director, you will:
- Oversee all financial operations, including policies, procedures, and controls.
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts.
- Manage and develop the accounting team, including payroll responsibilities.
- Ensure the filing of statutory accounts and stator reports, compliance with tax and accounting regulations.
- Driving cash performance and effective working capital management.
- Manage relationships with auditors and external advisors.
- Maintain accurate costings for profitability calculation.
- Ensure compliance with group processes and procedures.
As the Finance Director, you should have:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, etc.).
- Strong and updated technical accounting knowledge (IFRS and UK GAAP).
- Manufacturing finance experience, including standard costing, variance analysis, and operational KPI reporting.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups etc)
- Recent hands-on experience with integrated ERP systems (Navision/Business Central preferred), and experience with Cognos TM1 would be advantageous.
