Experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant job at Tradewind Recruitment Tradewind Recruitment, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a St. Helens Primary School on a full-time basis. This role involves providing support to the teacher and occasionally leading the class, ensuring a conducive learning environment for students. Position: Experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location: St. Helens Primary School Type: Full-Time Duration: September to December (with a possibility of a fixed-term ) Responsibilities: Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and implementing instructional activities. Provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs, ensuring their individual learning needs are met. Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources and materials. Supervise students during break times and school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being. Requirements: Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. Possess prior experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting. Demonstrate a sound understanding of child development and learning strategies. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with teachers, students, and parents. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and use own initiative when required. Committed to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the classroom. Working Hours: The working hours for this role are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday (term time). Details: This is a position starting in September and continuing until December. However, for the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for a fixed-term .
