We are recruiting for RPA/Intelligent Automation Business Analysts to join our growing Technology Consulting team. We are seeking individuals with significant client-facing experience or individuals who have gained project and technology delivery experience within large organisations.

Your key responsibilities


Client Responsibilities

  • Build valued and professional relationships with external clients and internal peers
  • Nurture long term existing relationships
  • Optimise business processes and prioritise them based on client needs
  • Discover and research opportunities for business cases which can be added to the client roadmap
  • Provide updates to the client on project events and progress
  • Present key results, deliverables and outputs to the client with exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Participate in client presentations and proposals for medium complex projects or elements of highly complex projects
  • Create high-quality work products and develop deep knowledge in one or more services, leveraging knowledge and experience to shape services to client problems
  • Understand our service offerings and help to identify opportunities to better serve our clients
  • Build internal relationships within the Technology Consulting team
  • Maintain and develop long-term valued client relationships
  • Identify and document opportunities for automation which can be added to the client roadmap for delivery
  • Ready processes for automation by applying process optimisation/re-engineering techniques
  • Engage with clients at all levels across the organisation, both business and technology functions
  • Respond to client requirements, provide updates on project events and progress, and provide subject matter knowledge
  • Present key results, deliverables, and outputs to the client with proficient written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
  • Train and manage junior EY staff and client staff, including quality assurance of client deliverables


Internal Responsibilities

  • Understand all our service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve clients and be able to build meaningful external relationships with our clients and internal relationships across service lines
  • Work with the Management Team to define the go-to-market Digital & Emerging Technology consultancy service and be part of the go-to-market team to sell these services to our clients
  • Develop and maintain your personal training and development plan to ensure you continue to update and improve your skill profile on an ongoing basis
  • Support collaboration and teaming activities across engagements and business development activities across the Technology Consulting team


Skills and attributes for success


To do this role effectively, we are looking for people with knowledge and experience in the following areas:


To qualify for the role you must have


  • A strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in a business or IT related discipline, from a recognised third level institution
  • 2+ years of experience in a professional, client-facing environment
  • At least 2 years’ experience delivering RPA objectives and processes in a client-facing or internal-facing role for a consulting or professional services company in delivery of large-scale, complex change/transformation programmes or systems integration programmes
  • Experience dedicated to client delivery in the automation space involving a variety of technology products, such as, Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere
  • Deep understanding of the market-leading Intelligent Automation products and emerging trends
  • Experience in one or more of our focus industries including Power & Utilities, Financial Services, Government & Public Sector, Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, Tech and Media, Advanced Manufacturing / Industry 4.0
  • Experience in working in an Agile environment and using Agile methods for software delivery e.g. Scrum, SAFE, Kanban, Lean, TDD and CI/CD
  • Proven skills and experience in effectively working in a cross-functional Agile team
  • A proven ability to lead and deliver on software projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a structured approach to problem-solving and be a self-starter with the ability to work both as part of a team and also independently, managing your own workload with an attention to detail
  • Be able to effectively engage and manage different stakeholder groups
  • Excellent communication skills, tailoring communications to suit a mix of audiences and ability to translate strategy into measurable business benefits


Ideally, you’ll also have


  • Additional professional qualifications, such as PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Scrum Product Owner and SAFe or Diploma Level in Agile Project Management or similar discipline from a recognised third level institution or accreditation body
  • Certification awarded by Blue Prism, UiPath or Automation Anywhere
  • Experience in the use of the Microsoft BI toolset, including O365 tools and PowerPlatform (PowerApps/PowerAutomate/PowerBI)
  • Experience in the identification and delivery of Chatbots/Virtual Agents (e.g., using technologies such as IBM Watson Assistant and Power Virtual Agent etc.)
  • Experience in the use of Process Mining & Data Visualisation tools and techniques (e.g. using technologies such as Celonis, Pega Desktop Analytics, Process Gold etc.)
  • Programming/Development experience in UiPath, BluePrism, Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, and ChatBots/Natural Language Processing is a bonus
