Role - Intelligence Research Officer
Salary - Scale: 3/4 = £21,432 - £25,353 - (Pro-Rata)
Location – York (Fulford Road Police Station) or Selby Police Station with flexibility for home working once training is completed.
Contract - Permanent - Part-Time (18.5 hours per week)
Hours - Tuesday & Wednesday 08:00-16:00 & Friday 08:00-12:00
N.B: This is a job share and this days are not flexible as cover is needed during these times. Office hours can be discussed further at interview.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Intelligence Research Officer to join our Intelligence Team within North Yorkshire Police. This is a staff role that is crucial in supporting our intelligence function from City Command in York and Selby areas.
Main Responsibilities will include the management of warrants within the intelligence function, including the associated research, full administration process and tasking. The successful post holder will conduct research through various sources, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and experience required:
- Accuracy with data inputting
- Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with internal stakeholders and external agencies such as court officers
- Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills in order to work to specific time schedules.
