The Integration Center Quality Control (ICQC) Specialist will ensure configured devices leaving SHI Integration Centers comply with customer requirements. The ICQC Specialist will document accurate task instructions for customer orders. The ICQC Specialist performs audits and spot checks for compliance and documents results for corrective or preventative action reports. This position reports directly to the EUC integration manager.

- Suggest and implement approved quality control operating procedures
- Interface with the customer, sales, and configuration center staff to document accurate build instructions
- Create documentation of new quality control procedures and train team as necessary

- Independently solve problems with minimum input from management
- Follow Quality Control processes and documentation.
- Manage and organise the inventory of build documentation
- Read and comprehend technical manuals, troubleshooting guides, manufacturers specifications, used in the installation and repair of electronic equipment.
- Conduct and report internal audits, spot checks, and evaluations
- Collaborate with Sales Team, Configuration Center Management, Integration Center Techs and Quality Control Team for customer orders regarding audits and quality assurance
- Utilise internal systems for order research
- Assist the other areas of integration department as requested by the Integration manager.
- 2 years working an Integration Center or a manufacturing environment
- 1 year auditing experience
- 3 x GCSEs
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to communicate updates/concerns/escalations to management clearly & effectively
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to explain/deliver/and communicate technical information such as networking information, system errors, and OS configurations in a clear and concise fashion that is easily understood.
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions/manuals, troubleshooting guides, and manufacturer specifications
- Ability to learn additional skills to maintain technical competencies
- Ability to write clear and concise directions and instruct others on process/procedure as they relate to builds
- Ability to learn and utilize internal systems
- Ability to discern, process and communicate technical details as they relate to configuration builds
- Ability to perform basic auditing techniques
- Ability to multi-task and keep track of multiple work streams at one time
- Ability to present to customers, supervisors, peers
- Ability to work with meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated knowledge of SHI configuration and warehouse processes
- Solid understanding of the ISO 9001 Quality Standards
- Extended hours may be required to complete some special projects
