Required Qualifications/Skills:
The Integration Engineer role is within the Solutions Assurance and Labs practice within the ITO organisation.
The Deployed Integration Engineer will have responsibility for resolving defects raised against Microsoft Hotfixes. The post holder will be expected will provide an overview of whether the defects are appropriate for the environments and will then own the appropriate defects.
The engineer will work on a range of Microsoft products from Operating System level to Office and also third party applications, ensuring compatibility and end-to-end service within the appropriate environment.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role, as the post holder will be expected to assist with the resolution of relevant incidents within the Live domain
Note that while it is considered to be unlikely, a small amount of travel may be required throughout the United Kingdom.
Work Environment
The role will be based in the Erskine office.

Must be a self-motivated and determined
Knowledge of the Adelie programme.
Ability to cope under pressure in a highly visible environment
Flexible with work times, in order that any major issues are resolved as quickly as possible when the need arises
Ability to work under their own initiative without constant guidance
Ability to communicate effectively with both internal/external customers
Willingness to learn and develop skills
Have good attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrates a good understanding of the deployment, configuration, testing & administration of server OS and hardware.
Awareness of other infrastructure technologies e.g. virtualisation, clustering
Good understanding of Wintel Server and Desktop operating systems
Knowledge and experience of Lumension (White List), Radia and Active Directory
Good investigative and problem solving skills
