Role overview:
As Eptura’s Sr. Integrated Graphic Designer, you will be to take design projects from brief to completion, providing new ideas and creativity whilst working closely within the Eptura brand guidelines. You will solve design problems through strategic design thinking, creative exploration and design execution that is above and beyond expectations. You will manage your design time and any extra resourcing to deliver to schedule, and you will ensure every piece of design which leaves the design team is on brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the full design lifecycle from concept to execution.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders during kick-off to create strong concepts.
  • Produce beautiful and innovative designs through all print and digital channels whether press, posters, websites, digital applications, social media channels or email.
  • Lead on branding projects that include marketing and events collateral and other content-based products.
  • Develop a deep understanding of target audiences and Eptura’s marketing strategy to deliver high quality results that have an instant, positive impact on promoting the product or brand.
  • Pitch innovative, creative solutions in response to marketing strategies.
  • Oversee and manage the preparation of all finished artwork files that will comply with the correct output specifications.
  • Effectively manage workloads within agreed timescales.
  • Observe internal processes and look for ways to continuously improve working methods.
  • Drive professional development and knowledge of latest software.
  • Look for ways to develop new design ideas within guidelines, marketing, and production opportunities
  • Plan and schedule design projects and deliverables, with the correct resourcing to deliver on time, including working with external suppliers and vendors to support the design process.
  • Own the brand visual guideline implementation and strive to deliver a consistent end-to-end brand experience for all customers.
  • Ensure every piece of work which leaves the Brand & Creative team is on brand, technically excellent and exceeds expectation.
  • Ensure brand guardianship throughout the creative review process.
  • Keep abreast with the latest design trends for inspirational SaaS brands.
  • Stay up to date with marketing best practices through self-led learning and regular formal training
About you:
  • A portfolio showcasing 8+ years of experience in integrated design, with recognised expertise in design, both graphic and digital.
  • Strong professional experience, preferably with a background of working at agencies.
  • Proven understanding of core design principles, preferably with a digital bias, with a good working knowledge of layout and typography principles.
  • Excellent digital and print design skills with strong Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) competency.
  • Experience of After Effects and an ability to illustrate graphics is an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of HTML and CSS with experience of building HTML emails.
  • Experience of and ability to adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Team player, who is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment with creatives, strategists, producers, technologists, developers and other designers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - can articulate ideas.
  • Desire to continue learning and develop their skillset and passionate about what they do
