The Credit Solutions business sits within Global Financing and Credit Trading (GFCT). The business has a broad mandate covering:
- Trading and underwriting of complex/ illiquid credit risk
- Originating and risk managing of loans against a range of esoteric assets
- Providing financing to clients via structured repos
- Providing financing to funds across a broad spectrum of products
- Participating in Insurance Financing
- Providing investors yield enhancement opportunities via the illiquid flows/structured products it originates or trades
You will work within the Insurance Solutions team as a Trader.

Your key responsibilities
- Interface with key internal stakeholders in Business Finance and Middle office to ensure appropriate reporting of risk
- Trading Interest Rate, Credit and Foreign Exchange (FX) products to manage the desk risk appropriately
- Profit & Loss (PnL) and Risk monitoring and sign offs
- Support desk in credit analysis of insurance companies/corporates in relation to lending business
- Pricing of equity release mortgage transactions and structures including various sensitivities to house prices
- Assisting in projects relating to securitisation of pool of enterprise risk management (ERM) loans, performance tracking and reporting. Regular risk and transaction monitoring and reporting
Your skills and experience
- Strong technical and quantitative academic background
- Good understanding of finance and credit. Ability to understand financial statements
- Prior experience in swap products, financing products and credit transactions, preferred
- Well versed in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Driven, dedicated, superior analytical aptitude and problem solving abilities
