We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in EMEA at United Kingdom, London.
Job Purpose:
Deliver all operational aspects of IRM’s global insurance programmes and mandatory locally procured coverage, to include the renewal process, exposure data gathering, evidence of cover, premium invoicing and collection and timely delivery of data to IRM management across all lines of business
Directly manage operational aspects of insurance renewals within assigned portfolio supporting with London based programme heads and key stakeholders globally
Your tasks:
- Operates within clearly defined standard operating procedures ensuring timely execution of insurance operations.
- Highly organized implementing process improvement measure (‘first choice’) ensuing continuous improvement across a range of KPI’s.
- Supports a range of insurance operations services within a shared service function.
- Clear communicator with key stakeholders (cross border)
- Develops and maintains an excellent working knowledge of the Group, its organizational structure and its scope of services
- Develops and maintains an excellent working knowledge of the IRM service portfolio, IRM strategy and the non-life insurance strategy
- Assist with the operational delivery & management of the global Insurance strategy including; collection & validation of exposure information, managing the offer & acceptance process, overseeing premium collection process and evidencing of insurance.
- Communicates and co-ordinates with Regional Insurance teams and the broader IRM team ensuring on-time/right first time delivery of insurance programmes.
- Uses continuous improvement / process optimization (‘First Choice’) principles to improve transactional processes.
- Uses analytical tools and training material to optimise insurance programme engagement and delivery process whilst ensuring alignment with all stakeholders is maintained.
- Conducts periodic reviews of insurance programme loss data supporting programme managers with loss trends, programme performance and risk management recommendations.
- Responds to ad-hoc queries relating to evidence of cover, documentation, invoicing, global high value cargo referrals and rate requests
- Maintain the London Underwriting System including maintaining accurate records and developing scheduled and bespoke reporting
- Serve as a key active member of IRM’s insurance job family team, interacting with colleagues to ensure business objectives are met and the organization is performing to “best in class” standards.
Your profile:
- University degree and / or progressing towards professional qualification in insurance eg ACII, FCII, CPCU, CEBS, IEBA or other business management qualification.
- 5 years’ experience in insurance analytics, insurance operations, actuary or equivalent
- Experience within a large multinational company (ideally transport & logistics or Insurer or Insurance Broker) with a strong background in cross border engagement.
- Good experience of large-scale data analysis - Knowledge of PowerBI desirable.
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent written and spoken English (additional language preferred)
- Able to multi-task and work to deadlines with a high level of attention to detail
