This is an exceptional opportunity to get into the financial industry with a view to becoming a fully trained Commercial Insurance broker speculating in the Construction and Property industry. You will be fully trained in all aspects of the brokerage business and long term we will sponsor you to do your Cert CII to become a chartered insurance broker.

Description of Vacancy
We are looking for someone with a desire to achieve within the Insurance industry. You will be looking after the internal executives and assisting them in servicing and managing client processing. We here at ABA Commercial Insurance brokers are an established specialist brokers offering construction liability, motor fleet and property insurance for over 30 years.
Your role within the business is to work with the Account Executives administrating their work. You daily duties will be to handle claims enquiries from our clients and/or insurers or any third-party claiming allegations. You will be responsible for the administration of policies and set up and chase client payments.
You will be responsible for:
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- Supporting client mid term adjustments
- Processing documentation
- Using our CRM system to manage client information
- Invoicing clients
- Setting up payments
- Issuing policy documents
- Reporting claims
- Speaking with clients and insurers to deal with various claims, administration and policy changes

£192.50 per week
Hours
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
1 hour lunch break (unpaid)
20% paid time during working hours is given to complete training, referred to as "Off the Job Training"

Qualifications Required
GCSE Level 4/5 (or Grade A-C) in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications in these subjects.
Training Provided
On the job training with the employer whilst working towards the Apprenticeship Standard - Customer Services Practitioner Level 2 Standard will establish an Apprentice's skills to deliver high quality service to customers both internally and externally. The Apprenticeship will incorporate knowledge of customers and the customer experience, understanding the organisation, its products/services and their role and responsibilities. Regular work-based assessments/observations carries out by Kent Training & Apprenticeships Tutor Assessor, to determine competency and meet with Awarding Body standards.
Additional Detail
As of 1st April 2023, the NMW for Apprentices is £5.28 per hour. This applies to 16-18 year old Apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other Apprentices the Apprentice National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
The wage for Apprentices applies to both time spent on the job plus time spent in training.
