Title: Insurance Risk & Compliance Officer

You will form part of a risk and compliance team, within a UK wide, award-winning MGA. With insurance being a highly regulated environment full of risks we are looking for a candidate with demonstrated ability in compliance. You will assist with setting up, monitoring, and maintaining adequate and appropriate internal systems and controls to ensure that our client's various requirements are met.
What you will achieve in this role:
- Gain and maintain a sound working knowledge of the regulation affecting the client including a responsibility for GDPR
- Setting up internal measures of success to ensure the client is meeting external obligations and regulations
- Report on and respond to any appropriate documents published by the regulatory bodies
- Act as a point of contact for employees, providing information and advice to the business on regulatory developments
- Participate in and co-ordinate regular external audits, implement findings and provide feedback to relevant areas of the business
- Responsible for maintaining and updating the company's internal handbook, shared network, intranet service and any other internal areas dedicated to compliance and risk

- Previous experience within a compliance-based role is essential
- 2 years previous experience within financial services
- Attention to detail
