Our legal team is responsible for providing legal counsel, collaborating with management to create efficient compliance, defence and governance strategies and solutions for our rapidly growing business needs. We are looking to expand the existing legal team and bring on-board a commercially-minded legal counsel.
Our Insurance Team is in charge of all insurance schemes locally and globally. We lead the implementation of insurance policies and of risk management strategies in line with our business needs.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Insurance investigations on claims to determine our legal liabilities;
- Assessments of damages and negotiation with third party legal representatives over settlements and legal costs;
- Dealing with mostly courier bike accident and property damage to the first party and third party cars and vehicles claims;
- Gathering info from our Operations team on the accidents, interface with other departments to obtain all the necessary information;
- Liaising and handling franchise queries in regards to insurance claims and coverage (at some point every jurisdiction will run a franchised operation);
- Interface with insurance brokers for renewal quotations and studies for the insurance program;
- Closing files (deciding to self-insure) knowing where that line is crossed i.e where premiums will increase if we keep claiming;
- Coordination of the UK Insurance Program in line with the European/Global Insurance Program.
What You'll Bring:
- Property and liability expertise;
- Handling claims in time and effectively with the counterparties, the brokers and insurers;
- Investigate on claims and recommend possible solutions in order to decrease the accidents rate and the loss ratio;
- Handling multiple inbox's ;
- Report all claims arising from MPTL, property and liability in compliance with the insurance program.
