Position: Event Manager
Location: Godmanchester (Huntingdon)
Shift pattern: Monday-Friday. Day time hours only (flexible working, including weekends)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;
- Management of Automotive events, ensure all events are delivered in line with the customer objectives and within budget.
- To provide quotations and proposal to the client in line with the requirements.
- Managing transportation, venue bookings, required equipment and staff volumes for events.
- Liaise with the venues, clients and wider team to discuss and arrange event requirements.
- Collate an itinerary for each event, which will be passed onto the events team.
- Completing and supporting with all pre-event duties to ensure a smooth process.
- Proactively build and maintain a strong, credible relationship with the customer ensuring longevity in the relationship.
- To lead the on-site teams to promote themselves as the event manager and manage large teams on site.
- To be involved in product launch tender briefs and presentations

- Happy working a remote/hybrid pattern, 3 days in the office and 2 from home
- Event Management experience is essential (within the Automotive industry would be beneficial).
- Communication skills - Written and verbal.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Budget, quoting and commercial awareness - Desirable
- Event and Project experience, of several events at one time.
- Excellent organisation skills.
- You must be happy to Travel in the UK and Ireland, and potentially work additional hours if needed.
