Job description
Woodland Commercial is a small-medium construction company working on residential and commercial projects and specialist insurance repairs. Our office is based in Sunbury on Thames however we operate sites in London and the Home Counties.
Your role is to act as a first point of contact for clients and customers within the insurance repair department. Managing each contact with a high level of customer service. Ensure the department administration runs smoothly, whilst supporting colleagues for optimal productivity. Your role reports to the Insurance Team Leader.
Key tasks
Daily monitoring of the info inbox – responding to queries, printing new losses and approvals.
Answering telephone calls to the insurance department and following up with relevant action
Investigate and resolve customer complaints / queries
Setting up job records for new losses on CIS and creating an electronic file in the Surveyor’s One Drive folder. Add and maintain all job-related documents to electronic files.
Manage the customer appointment diary
Maintaining thorough and accurate job records on CIS and client portal e.g start dates, visits
Liaise with company suppliers to arrange waste collections, material deliveries etc
Ordering materials for jobs
Reviewing the labour board each day with the Contracts Manager and texting staff job details.
Flexibility to undertake various ad-hoc administrative tasks as required
Key Skills and Qualifications
Administrative experience
Strong IT skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good numeracy skills, an understanding of invoicing would be advantageous but not essential.
Ability to multitask and be flexible with tasks
Helpful and friendly demeanour
Previous experience in handling insurance repairs would be an advantage but not essential.
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work with all members of the team

Salary: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
