Are you an enthusiastic and motivated individual, with a passion for the outdoors, if so we would love for you to join our team as an Instructor to run our practical outdoor adventure delivery.

The College has a beautiful setting amongst 280 hectares of farm, parklands, lake, woodland, and sport facilities. We have invested £80 million over the last 10 years to create world class vocational and educational facilities. Our campus offers a range of first-class facilities and resources both inside and outside of the classroom, such as our own lake, a 30ft high ropes course, an indoor climbing wall and our sports performance centre, which has facilities such as our altitude chamber used by students and professional athletes. We are located near some of the best outdoor environments the UK has to offer.

The successful candidate would need to possess a range of outdoor qualifications and vocational experience within the outdoor industry enabling them to deliver a range of activities to our students. You will be expected to plan and implement outdoor adventurous practical activities across our Adventure Sports and Uniformed Protective Services courses.

In return we offer a great working environment, beautiful surroundings, substantial pension, generous annual leave, the opportunity to purchase additional annual leave and a welcoming family feel. You will be able to utilise your knowledge, experience, team working, communication and IT skills to develop this role and further progress the department.

Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this.
