Purpose
Responsible for developing the overall framework and design of digital learning experiences and using learning data to inform continuous improvement. This role ensures course content is aligned with set standards, established learning objectives, company goals and values, and the learner needs. This also ensures that courses are designed to be an effective and engaging experience for employees.
Key Accountabilities
Pursue a deep understanding of learner roles to ensure that learning solutions meet the needs of learners.- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
- Develops or advises on the overall framework, design, strategy of courses, ensuring alignment with learning needs and service level agreements; collaborates with Business HR to establish objectives and goals of learning programs
- Craft LX artifacts (experience maps, flows, wireframes, prototypes) to guide development and research Creates mock-ups, scripts, or storyboard for digital assets, including video, e-learning, articles, job aids, learning environments, etc.
- Collaborates with the Learning Delivery team to execute courses, and maintains existing learning programs, ensuring up-to-date learning materials, training clarity etc.
- Tracks and reports on training activities to ensure program effectiveness; gathers and analyzes data to identify opportunities to improve/enhance learning experiences
- Conducts quality assurance assessments on digital learning experiences and provides trends and insights to Developers and Lead, Instructional Designers
- Champion usability and accessibility
- Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations within his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment
Experience / Education:
Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Adult Education or related field preferred- Previous experience designing digital instructional activities to support adult learners in online environments
- Previous experience in an Instructional Design or Learning Experience Design role preferred Provides performance consultation to achieve business goals by maximizing the performance of people and the business
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, technical environment Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical skills
- Proven teamwork capabilities
- UX Design education
This is a temporary, full time role for 18 months.
