Purpose of the Job:
To oversee the curriculum including the design of all skills programmes, to ensure they hit qualification spec and stakeholder requirements, updating materials with regular review dates in order to comply with syllabus changes, qualification specification, classroom trends and stakeholder feedback.
To assist the Head of Skills with complaint resolution and help to drive sales through continued quality and staff development.
To deliver engaging and inspirational programmes leading to defined outcomes for learners in accordance with PET-Xi company values and which meet prescribed internal and external standards, in accordance with the detailed specification agreed with the particular client.
To monitor and quality assure all aspects of skills programmes from staff training to verification of results.
Please note that the ideal candidate will be required to visit our courses across England.

Reports to: Curriculum and Innovation Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for organising the writing and checking all materials for Skills courses.
Responsible for ensuring all Skills curriculum is OFSTED compliant.
Ensuring every programme has a Scheme of work & lesson plan.
Organise the monitoring and responding to daily reports
Tracking of important course and assessor related data, in order to generate importantstatistical information when required
Liaising with Training / HR to write assessments, organise and run regular training sessions for new and existing skills delivery staff
Reporting trends and data from course analysis to Curriculum and Innovation manager.
Skills / Experience:
Qualified Assessor
Professional qualifications within the training sector
Experience of developing training programmes
organised and have the ability to effectively prioritise your workload even with multiple and conflicting requirements.
Team player with good communication skills and the ability to motivate and educate colleagues.
Previous experience of engaging within education activities.
Ability to engage with and inspire young learners by using appropriate training techniques and inter-personal skills.
Create an appropriate learning environment and maintain a disciplinary framework by
demonstrating a strong 'presence· in the classroom or venue
At all times deliver learning in accordance with PET-Xi published values, sometimes in the face of provocation and under pressure.
Experience of managing staff including disciplinary procedures would be useful.
