Fire Alarm Installation Engineer - 8 months Fixed Term ContractLocation: working between 2 sites in Berkshire (van provided) Hours of Work: 37 per week. Overtime is calculated at x 1.5 Monday - Friday, x 1.5 on Saturdays, x 2.0 for Sundays and Bank Holidays. Salary: £39,000 for the 8 months contract (not pro rata) + generous bonus upon completion of the full contract + allowance depending on duties Please note that due to the nature of this contract, only British Citizens can be considered for this position and will need to undergo the SC level vetting.About the job:

• Installation of fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with BS5839pt1 2013 and BRE /LPS1014 installation rules.
• Comply with policies relating to Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Technical Compliance issues that affect the customer and employees.

About you:

• Proven knowledge on relevant Fire standards BS 5839 Pt 1 - 2013, BS 6266 Pt 1 - 2013,
• Experience of installing MICC cabling
• City and Guilds 236 pts 1&2 electrical installation or equivalent.
• Proven ability to install containment and cabling specifically related to fire detection and alarm systems.
• Proven experience on working in industrial environments.
• Relevant health and safety training/certification
• 17th or 18th Edition Electrical qualification
