Would you like to be part of a manufacturing team working nationwide, providing high end acoustic products to a wide variety of clients?

We are looking for an Installer to join our installation team responsible for the pre manufacture, preparation and installation of our high-end quality noise and vibration acoustic products including acoustic enclosures, louvres, vibration isolation systems, attenuators and acoustic barriers.

The role can often include working alongside our dedicated workshop team to manufacture, prepare and sort components. Whilst some jobs are delivered by specialist transport companies, some are loaded into our work vans to then be taken to the site/client and installed in a fast and efficient manner, whilst maintaining a great work ethic and communication within a small team.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be competent working with hand tools.
  • Be willing to learn new skills both on site and in the workshop.
  • Have a good driving ability, driving the work van is essential for this role.
  • Have a positive can-do attitude, good communication skills and a great ability to work closely in a team.
  • Have good initiative, problem solving ability and able to bring new ideas to our company.

We are looking for a reliable, determined, friendly, and skilled person to become a valued member of our team and increase the number of installations we can offer our growing customer base.

Duties include

  • Working in the workshop during quieter periods and between jobs, manufacturing a range of products.
  • Working with inhouse machinery including guillotine, press brake, bandsaw etc. (training will be provided as appropriate)
  • Assemble and install a variety of different jobs, such as acoustic enclosures, screens and steelwork efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Problem solving, as and when required
  • Quality Control on installations and the ability to meet ACE and Clients’ expectations
  • Ensure all tools, vehicles and PPE are maintained in a safe working manner
  • Loading vehicles with all materials, tools and equipment necessary for each installation
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Be prepared for all aspects of labour in all weathers
  • Ability to be flexible, sometimes on short notice. Staying away for work will be crucial

Skills needed

  • Previous experience with site installation with relevant CSCS qualifications
  • Ability to safely lift heavy loads
  • Able to follow management instructions
  • Work as a team member for preparing and installing jobs
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Full UK driving license
  • Accurate and precise working skills
