Installation Manager
A family run contractor are currently looking for an Installation Manager to join there ever growing team. Specialising in the installation of UK manufactured, lightweight insulated conservatory roof replacement panels to help customers achieve a cooler conservatory in the summer, a warmer room in the winter and a much quieter one in the bad weather; helping customers reduce their energy bills by upgrading their existing conservatory roof and reclaim their often unusable conservatory room.
As an Installations Manager, you will be covering a Geographical region of around 3 to 4 counties, with approximately 6 to 8 Installation teams and is supported by a Planning Administrator in the office.
Duties/responsibilities
- Pre-Installation Planning – Ensuring each team has everything they need to do the job 1st time, every time
- Collaborating with the Surveyors to ensure accurate method statements are provided to the Installation Teams with all H & S considerations
- Collaborating with the Warehouse teams to ensure each installation is prepared ready for the teams to collect with every item
- Liaising with both the Planning Manager & Contract Administration Team to ensure that all issues from customers relating to their installation are handled appropriately first time, every time and reduce the ned for repeat visits
- Liaising with the Warehouse team to ensure all products are ready for your Installers, highlighting any product quality control issues
- Carrying out regular Quality Inspections to ensure a high standard of workmanship
- Conducting regular meetings with Installation Teams acting on feedback and improvement suggestions from within the team
- Following all Health & Safety compliance requirements
Desired qualifications and experience.
- Previous experience within the Window / Conservatory or construction industry.
- Experience Managing teams of Sub-Contractors / Site Teams
- Ability to communicate with staff of all levels and abilities
- Great planning & organisational skills
- A pleasant disposition
- Attention to detail
Package
- Full Time – 40 hours per week (7am to 4pm)
- £38,000 per annum basic salary
- £12,000 Operational Bonus related to KPIs
- Small Company van provided and fuel card
