AV Home Installation Engineer
Due to an increased order book an AV Home Installation Engineer is needed by a well established company based in Brentford West London.
My client is a leading home automation expert with experience of supplying and installing single and multi-room audio visual systems, multi room music, smart lighting, CCTV, wi-fi and networks, and automation/smart home solutions across London and the home counties.
They are members of CEDIA (Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association) and certified dealers/installers with direct links to major manufacturers in the home automation industry.
The successful candidate would be working as part of a small team, installing and commissioning smart home system with full integration of Lighting, Video, Audio, CCTV, Heating and HVAC, Networks and security. Some commercial installations are also carried out.
Skills you will need
- At least 1 Years’ AV or Home Automation Installation experience with systems such as Elan, Crestron, RTI, Rako, Lutron, Networking and CCTV systems, Wi-Fi, lighting control, and multi-room audio.
- Experience and proficiency with hand tools for onsite installation.
- Great diagnostics skills
- A good understanding of running networks around a domestic property
- Preferably you will already be proficient in programming at least one home automation system and at least one smart lighting system
- Great verbal and written communication with clients and team members is vital
- experience of providing on-site and remote customer service support to clients is preferred.
- You must have a full UK driving license
