What we’re looking for
This is an exciting opportunity for a Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. As a Refrigeration Engineer, you’ll play a part in keeping some of the UK’s biggest brands on the road, responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, repair, and servicing of customers’ fleets.
What you’ll do
- Service and repair of all makes and models of transport refrigeration units including Carrier Transicold, Thermo King and Zanotti.
- Electrical, electronic, mechanical and refrigeration fault diagnosis and repair.
- Able to work sufficiently and effectively in a workshop environment.
- Support workshops team members including Apprentice Engineers as required.
- Accurately record time and parts to complete jobs and associated details on fleet management application.
- Ensuring a first-time fix on all repairs where possible.
- Ad-hoc duties as required.
- Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness is of paramount importance
What you’ve got
- F-Gas Category 1 Certified
- Valid UK driving licence as using company service vehicle.
- Experience working in this role/a similar role.
- Excellent customer service mindset
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and effectively
- Must be hardworking and self-motivated and a productive Engineer
- Ability to tackle all aspects of repair and servicing transport refrigeration units.
- Diagnostics skills/qualifications – desirable
- Fleet experience
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,900.00-£39,500.00 per year
