Refrigeration Engineer - £38000

What we’re looking for

This is an exciting opportunity for a Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. As a Refrigeration Engineer, you’ll play a part in keeping some of the UK’s biggest brands on the road, responsible for conducting inspections, maintenance, repair, and servicing of customers’ fleets.

What you’ll do

• Service and repair of all makes and models of transport refrigeration units including Carrier Transicold, Thermo King and Zanotti.
• Electrical, electronic, mechanical and refrigeration fault diagnosis and repair.
• Able to work sufficiently and effectively in a workshop environment.
• Support workshops team members including Apprentice Engineers as required.
• Accurately record time and parts to complete jobs and associated details on fleet management application.
• Ensuring a first-time fix on all repairs where possible.
• Ad-hoc duties as required.
• Health and safety at work and workshop cleanliness is of paramount importance

What you’ve got

• F-Gas Category 1 Certified
• Valid UK driving licence as using company service vehicle.
• Experience working in this role/a similar role.
• Excellent customer service mindset
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work quickly and effectively
• Must be hardworking and self-motivated and a productive Engineer
• Ability to tackle all aspects of repair and servicing transport refrigeration units.
• Diagnostics skills/qualifications – desirable
• Fleet experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,900.00-£39,500.00 per year
