The I&C Manager will initially be involved throughout the procurement and project lifecycle and play a pivotal role from procurement right through to the successful handover to the client. This role will be project focussed, delivering critical programmes with EDF for the Hinkley Point C project, the successful outcome of which is crucial UK infrastructure.
You will be working closely with the customer, suppliers, and the wider internal project team delivering products and services of the highest quality, safely, on time, in full and at a globally competitive cost. This role will involve spending time on site at Hinckley Point C particularly when the installation phase goes live, but the role is flexible between all CNUK RR sites depending on the needs of the project. What you will be doing:
You will be delivering I&C contracts worth c£25m. ensuring delivery to the best balance of time, cost and quality.
- Acting as the key point of contact between suppliers and EDF NNB representatives. Ensuring swift approval of all site-based documentation and resolution of NCRs.
- Managing and coordination of site design changes with JDO (Joint Design Office)to ensure smooth implementation.
- Working closely with suppliers to create the necessary site related deliverables to allow installation activities to be carried out in according with HPC procedures
- Collaborating with Procurement to assess and secure competitive contracts for installation and commissioning suppliers, including active input to contracting strategy.
- Working with the commercial team to protect RR position between client and supply chain by management of the interface between contractor and client claims.
- Responsible for reporting and process adherence during the monthly cycle, for your accountable areas.
- Producing CEMAR related communications

- Nuclear Industry Experience managing contracts (FIDIC/NEC A/NEC C)
- Installation and Commissioning Management background with client and Supplier Facing experience
- Relevant Technical Qualification
- Proven track record of working within demanding timescales
- Ability to work with ambiguity, strong ability in analysis and problem solving
