Your role will be to solve quality and manufacturing related problems to enable work to be delivered on time whilst maintaining and improving the efficiency of the business in accordance with the policies, goal and objectives established by the business.
You will have many responsibilities, some will include:
- To ensure standards of quality and workmanship to BS EN ISO 9001 are met at all times.
- To ensure all health and safety regulations are observed and maintained
- To promote and encourage effective communication between all departments
- Provide engineering "hands on" support to all areas of manufacturing and act as liaison between all departments
- Produce Non Conformance Reports as required to enable rectification or modification to assemblies or individual components to be performed whilst allowing the associated cost to be identified
- Conduct inspection of materials and components, as and when required, for goods inwards, first-off operation and final inspection to meets the necessary standard
- Supply technical information to Production Control to enable Route Sheets to be modified in line with current procedures
- Produce inspection reports during and after final machining
- Update the company's ERP system (E-max) to ensure material status and location are recorded when necessary
Our client is looking for you to have the following:
- Good attention to detail
- Communication skills
- Professionalism
- Good inter personal skills and time management
- Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in ERP systems, Computer literate
- Fully trained inspector
