As a Barclays Insights & Reporting Analyst, you’ll provide operational management and reports for the performance of Cyber Fraud Fusion Centre (CFFC) services and SLAs. For this role, you’ll support, maintain and develop the CFFC Management Information (MI) framework undertaking data enrichment, transformation and loading tasks in automated ways in the MI production process using Tableau development & data engineering skills, and accelerate MI innovation & establish operational MI process through solid pipeline of research and development.

What will you be doing?
• Designing, developing and maintaining operational end-to-end MI processes for CFFC services, delivering on time weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports
  • Owning CFFC MI Framework from process, data, and technology aspect coordinating with service owners the service KPIs and KRIs
  • Planning and delivering data aggregation and transformation to produce MI dashboards and reports
  • Developing complex and intuitive Tableau dashboards that meet a multitude of operational requirements and high-level metrics for stakeholders
  • Overseeing data reconciliation between reported metrics and raw service data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Identifying new service work streams and components, building respective MI and regularly upgrading the service dashboards to reflect the latest state of the service
  • Researching new and innovative ways to optimise MI visualisations and maximise the impact and insight of dashboards
  • Ensuring CFFC metrics meet all necessary governance and compliance requirements
What we’re looking for:
• Work experience as Tableau developer and/or data engineer with MI reporting tools & ability to build data aggregation & transformation data pipelines using Python or ETL tools
  • Knowledge and understanding of databases & methods of querying & aggregating data in the most efficient way without compromising data accuracy, integrity, and performance
  • Experience developing Tableau dashboards, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word reports with professional layout and aesthetics
  • Ability to design and build automated processes interlinking various data sources and destinations including but not limited to REST APIs, databases, SFTP and files
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Work experience producing reports for senior leadership and/or external stakeholders
  • Experience building interactive Tableau dashboards
  • Proficiency with using tools like: SAS, pgAdmin, Hue, Impala. Ab Initio
  • Ability to perform reporting within cyber-enabled fraud or cyber security function

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.



We purchased the building from the landlord in early 2018 as a sign of our commitment to investment in Northampton. Plans to further develop this Campus-style location are under way to allow for a real collaborative work environment. Based just off the A45 it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
