At a glance
This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home and the London/ Head Office. However, there will also be an expectation to visit other locations as the need arises.
The salary range for this role is set at £ 54,400.00 - £100,000.00

About the role
As an Insight Manager you will have advanced capabilities in combining primary and secondary research with internal and external data to champion the voice of the customer and Partner within the John Lewis Partnership. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and decision makers and provide them with actionable, predictive and forward looking insight on complex strategic issues, to support or challenge business decisions and actions, and deliver insight in a compelling, concise manner.
You will oversee the delivery of major projects, handling qualitative and quantitative data and application context of consumer and market trends and themes. You will have an outstanding ability to triangulate multiple data sources, to provide timely insight and recommendations related to a business problem, mission or Partner proposition. You will work closely with secondary insight providers (publications and subscriptions) to incorporate their insight into your work and support the cascade of insight across the wider Partnership. You will use your knowledge and experience to coach and mentor other members of the Insight team.
Essential Skills
Experience in a relevant Insight role, leading significant & strategic projects
Experience in critically evaluating facts, statements and looking at all angles
Experience of synthesising complex and ambiguous information in order to drive actionable insight
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Exceptional problem solving, numerical skills and commercial acumen
Ability to rapidly learn and self-develop
Ability to work within mixed, agile teams
Skilled at navigating ambiguity
