Job description
Cambridge- Technical Inside Sales - £30-35k
Platform Recruitment has partnered with our client who manufacture photonics-based products and solutions. As part of the company’s expansion plan, they’re looking for an experienced Technical Inside Sales to support clients and customers with product support. The ideal candidate is someone who has strong technical product knowledge and sales experience in a manufacturing, engineering environment.
Main Duties:
+ Support existing customers, assisting with general product enquiries
+ Offer product support to other global sites
+ Prepare quotations for existing and new products
+ Support with compiling monthly sales forecast and marketing activities (internet, campaigns, trade shows) as/when required
Required Skills/Experience:
+ Previous Sales Experience in a technical environment
+ Ability to understand and articulate technical product
+ IT literate - MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote)
+ Good team integration skills
Other information:
+ There will be opportunities for travel to visit customers, and support company activities at trade shows etc.
Salary:
+ £30-35k
