Reporting to the Spare Parts Supervisor, the Inside Sales Coordinatorwill undertake all aspects of Sales and Customer Service requirements for Wireline & Flowline Spare Parts. Key to this role will be your ability to act as the customer voice to all internal stakeholders, communicating qualified sales opportunities and agreeing achievable delivery dates with timelines to an agreed price level in alignment with both NOV’s and our customers’ businesses. The office is located in Dyce.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to incoming enquiries to provide price, lead time & technical information to both external clients and other subsidiaries of NOV in a timely manner
- Preparation and submission of quotations, in line with departmental response KPI’s.
- Checking availability of components and liaising with the operations team to provide accurate lead times.
- Processing of Client purchase orders and scheduling delivery dates in accordance with both stock availability and project delivery requirements.
- Control of electronic records for all sales transactions as per sales department processes.
- Enquiry follow up to determine the status of the quotation and recording reason(s) for loss
- Creation and maintenance of sales opportunity records within the CRM system.
- Liaise with Sales Engineers to identify opportunities to upsell spare parts at the point of capital equipment sale.
- Obtain technical clarifications from Engineering team as required and communicate these to the customer.
- Work alongside the finance team as required to resolve any AR issues and ensure payment is received. Ensure all client communication is responded to in a prompt and professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good standard of high school education or equivalent (essential)
- HND Engineering or business related subject, or relevant experience in Sales environment (desirable)
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in a customer facing role (essential)
- Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Sales environment (desirable)
SKILLS, TRAINING OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook) (essential)
- Product knowledge of Wireline / Slickline Intervention Equipment (desirable)
- Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (desirable)
- ERP knowledge such as Epicor, Syteline, Sage or JDE (desirable)
