DCG Logistics UK Ltd –Internal Sales– Chelmsford
DCG Logistics UK Ltd is an international freight forwarding company based in Chelmsford, Essex. We have a global network that enable us to manage our shipments domestically and internationally. With the expansion of our business, DCG are looking for a couple of suitable candidates to work full-time, 08:30am – 17:30pm Monday - Friday as Internal Sales. Salary will be discussed in the interview depending on experience.
Duties will include the following:
- Quotation Management
- Pass on industry and market updates to the internal team and post them on the company social media account
- Assist for any new market project when needed
- Work on operations when needed
- Manage company social media regarding marketing & sales promotions and updates
- Keep looking for reliable & competitive suppliers to meet the needs of internal operations team
- Assist on design and maintain an efficient quotation system
- Understand the general information about the industry changes and trends
- Looking for partners in other market & regions out of UK and build up relationship
Purpose of the role:
- Making sure the rates provided to external customers and internal sales team is promptly and accurate as per our indicated profit share
- Making sure internal operations team get enough support and reliable service from suppliers, and enhance the cooperation between us and our partners
- Build up the company’s popularity on social media by regularly updating our followers on industrial trends and information
- Gain more customers in all rounds (ocean, air, rail, multimodal, agents)
Essential Criteria:
- Keep a high level of customer service awareness and make sure our customer/sales are happy with the support provided
- Be organized on quotations and proficient on micro-software apps & office skills
- Keep a high level of sales sense and proactive mindset when it comes to customer enquiries
- Be self-motivated and ambitious on new things
- Good communication skills
