Inothink is an innovation and entrepreneurship knowledge broker social enterprise that supports resolving healthcare problems, increasing skills to process ideas critically, innovate, invent, and invade the clinical entrepreneurship space. We have a team of Inothinkers who believe everyone can think. We look for opportunities for Nurses, Midwives and Allied care professionals to co-design clinical products and services that will support the clinical practice now and in the future.

It will be essential that the post holder to people’s person possess effective communication and is willing to learn new skills.

As part of our business plan, we are looking for determined and enthusiastic Inothinker Influencers to support Inothinkers in various Heath Care Organisations.

We are looking for an individual with the necessary skills, knowledge, drive and enthusiasm to join our team on a self-employed basis or as an apprentice.

Job Summary

This role is part of the Business Development Team within Inothink. It will be essential that the post holder explore and drive sustainable relationships through support and maintain strong relationships with Inothinkers in different organisations.

As part of our development plan, we are looking for determined and enthusiastic Inothinker Influencers to help support the Inothinker who are based in organisations that have subscribed to our service. You will be at the front of the company and support clinicians' idea creation and implementation.

The post holder will be based at our office in Watford or work remotely but will be required to work with prospective clients. Therefore, travel across different geographical locations might be necessary. There will be some requirements to attend meetings with the Executive Founder and Co-founder to discuss the progress of the relationship formed and ideas generated.

Responsibilities

1. To support clinicians in recognising innovative opportunities in clinical practice.

2. To engage clinicians around innovation discussions and be willing to learn from clinicians.

3. To conduct research to identify themes from clinicians' engagement.

4. To establish and maintain effective engagement via email, phone, and in-person with clinicians

5. Coordinate and arrange Inothink-related events, meetings, appointments, and conferences.

6. Assist with preparing presentations and pitches for prospective clients.

7. To create and maintain databases of findings from clinicians

8. To provide feedback to Inothink management.

You may need to work across other Inothink-related subsidiaries while maintaining the above responsibilities. This will be communicated to you should this need arise.

Requirements

Proven working experience as an influencer or just willingness to learn.

  • Proven sales track record or willingness to learn new skills
  • Previous experience in customer relations is desirable
  • Computer literacy in using MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is essential
  • Proficiency in English
  • Administrative and coordination knowledge
  • Communication and negotiation skills are paramount
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA/diploma/Apprentice in business administration, sales or relevant healthcare-

related field

GENERAL DUTIES

· To maintain a clean, safe environment, ensuring adherence to the organisation's standards of cleanliness, hygiene and infection control, particularly COVID -19 Government stipulated guidance

Safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults

· Inothink is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. It is an expectation that all staff members therefore expected to behave in such a way that supports this commitment

Information Governance

· Adequate record keeping and adherence to Inothink Corporate records Management, privacy policies and procedures in essential for all staff

Health and Safety

· It is an expectation that employees, including self-employed staff, take reasonable care to prevent injury to themselves or others who may be affected by their acts or omissions

· To immediately report any in health and safety-related matters to the Inothink Director

Health and Wellbeing

· The post holder is expected to take all reasonable steps to look after their physical and mental health.

General Policies, Procedures and Practices

· To comply with all inothink's and subscribed organisational policies, procedures and practices and to be responsible for keeping up to date with any changes to these.

Working Conditions

· The post holder's normal working conditions do not involve exposure to hazardous chemicals, but they require physical effort that includes driving to different Organisation and being within clinical areas

You will work at Inothink Base, and a degree of flexibility with home working can be negotiated
