Innovation Scientist/Engineer
Jackson Hogg are pleased to be working with an exciting organisation in the region in the search for an Innovation Scientist/Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Use a range of techniques to develop, optimise and improve existing manufacturing processes and equipment
- Design experiments. Plan, test and optimise new processes/equipment including the validation of results
- To generate information and process data that will support the manufacture of products in a timely and cost-effective manner
Experience:
- Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or Engineering Discipline
- Relevant experience of equipment, process and product development.
- Application of scientific knowledge using engineering principles to develop new processes, equipment and to improve existing processes.
- Experience in method development and validation.
- A background in engineering or manufacturing would be advantageous.
This scientific role that requires hands on engineering skills to enable the design and the optimisation of processes, equipment, products. The ability to design experimental activities to advance process improvement and foster innovation.
