Role Purpose
ReviewSolicitors are on the search for a talented chef who is looking for their next role. This is a new role that we are creating due to the significant expansion and growth of the company.
We require an in-house chef to prepare and cook food and drink for our office of 30 staff. Our new chef will have full autonomy of the kitchen and will be crucial in helping us provide daily healthy meals for our team.
Hours
The hours are convenient and reasonable. You can start work any time from 07:00 to 08:00 and will finish once all lunch meals are completed, usually 14:30 – 15:30. We can be flexible on our hours.
We do not require any weekend work, nor bank holidays. We also shut down for almost three weeks at Christmas.
Your responsibilities
· Menu creation – We will require you to liaise with the team to gain ideas for what to include in the menu. Ideally we would want 5-7 different healthy dishes that will change every 4 to 6 weeks. You will ultimately choose what makes the menu.
· Ordering ingredients – You will have autonomy to order in the ingredients that you need.
· Storing ingredients – All food will be properly stored in our newly refurbished kitchen.
· Choosing and creating a daily pastry for the staff to snack on. This will be served between 09:30 – 10:30.
· Drinks preparation – Double up as a barista and create hot drinks for the team throughout the day.
· Food preparation – The usual lunch period will be from 12:00 – 15:00 but you can use the additional time in the morning to prep the ingredients that you will need.
· Produce high quality dishes both design and taste wise for our lunch service.
· Creating a morning fruit platter for the director.
· Follow all relevant hygiene and health and safety guidelines
