The Company

An award-winning Managed Service Provider (MSP) is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to work out of their easily accessible office in London. While primarily office based, this role will require some travel to client site.

The business works across SME to large enterprise project delivery, primarily working with multiple vendors, including Cisco, VMWare, and Microsoft. They work with the latest technologies from these vendors, including Modern Workplace, Azure and Intune.

Meaning you’ll be working on the latest and newest tech and receive support for earning certifications and for general training with these software’s. The business understands that giving you the tools you need to find success in your career is key to ensuring you’re happy in your role.


Infrastructure Support Engineer Role Overview

As Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will be a key part of the team, focussing directly on Support and Troubleshooting of Infrastructure Technologies. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting issues across Windows Servers, Microsoft Stack, and Networking, working with multiple key vendors.
  • Delivering across SME and large enterprise sites.
  • Visit customers and support with technical issues.
  • Manage incoming support tickets, whilst also working proactively.
  • Provide regular professional, frequent and relevant customer communication.

Skills and Experience required for the Infrastructure Support Engineer

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable, career enhancing experience working with the latest technology on the market. The business does ask that you have:

  • 2 years’ experience working in an Infrastructure Support based role.
  • Experience working with Windows Server, Microsoft Stack and knowledge of Networking.
  • Knowledge of 2 or more industry leading vendors.
  • Ideally have Managed Service experience.
  • Must be able to interphase with both technical and non-technical customers.
