Role: ERP System Manager and IT Infrastructure Lead

The Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join us as an ERP System Manager and IT Infrastructure Lead. This role will be responsible for managing our recently implemented ERP system, overseeing the company's IT infrastructure, and coordinating with our managed IT service provider on a daily basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business systems, optimising efficiency, and maintaining the security and integrity of our IT infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage and administer the company's ERP system, including user access, configuration, and troubleshooting
· Liaise with the cloud ERP provider to ensure rapid resolution of issues and enhancements
· Oversee the daily operation of the IT infrastructure, including networks, NAS, laptops and other hardware and software systems.
· Collaborate with the Managed IT Service Provider to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
· Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary upgrades or enhancements.
· Conduct regular data backups audits and develop disaster recovery plans to minimise downtime and ensure data integrity.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements for system enhancements or modifications and manage the implementation process through an approval Change Advisory Board
· Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to ERP systems and IT infrastructure.
· Train and support end-users on ERP system functionalities and best practices.
· Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Proven experience managing and supporting ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment (ideally E-Max).
· Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, storage, and cloud technologies.
· Experience working with Managed IT Service Providers and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) processes.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
· Knowledge of data security and compliance standards is a plus.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
