The Europe Technology and Operations team is hiring for an Infrastructure Project Manager.
This position supports the Infrastructure Lead in Europe with project management, operational oversight and administrative/process-oriented tasks related to Europe Infrastructure. This position is suited to a candidate who has 5 years relevant experience and who is looking to grow their infrastructure project and operational management skillset.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
- Defining and documenting project scope, requirements, deliverables, stakeholders and preparing high level project plans for assigned projects. Working with other engineers and developers on delivering complicated projects.
- Scheduling and conducting project meetings throughout project duration.
- Preparing and distributing to stakeholders (including Executive sponsor) project status reports on a periodic basis appropriate to project phase and need.
- Working closely with the Infrastructure Lead in Europe and Finance with managing budgets (capex and opex), vendors, contracts and supporting the infrastructure teams purchasing process where needed.
- Working with Infrastructure group management, compliance, internal and external auditors as needed to coordinate, explain processes and fulfil document requests for audits.
- Overseeing outsourcing relationships, both as the recipient and provider of services.
- Other project, process or administrative tasks as required.
The ideal candidate has:
- Good technical familiarity across multiple disciplines, Network, Linux and Windows.
- Track record of successfully planning and implementing infrastructure projects.
- Analytical problem solver, plans and priorities to work efficiently.
- Self-starter, able to take on big projects, plan and manage time, delivery and expectations.
You’ll really stand out with:
- Understanding, knowledge and experience of Atlassian’s Jira.
- Knowledge of network and server design principles in low latency / high throughput networks.
- Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic team-oriented environment.
- Knows what good looks like, has a culture of excellence and improvement.
