We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our UK IT team based in Mansfield.

What about the role:
Our Enterprise IT Team ensure that our business-critical systems operate effectively and in accordance with all Data Protection and Information Governance legislation and our Group Cyber-Security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Our systems operate 24/7 and support users across the UK.
Typical duties include:
- Ensuring our systems are robust, effective, and reliable,
- Hardware maintenance and installations within our operating locations
- Building user equipment in line with Group build and imaging policies
- Managing firmware, operating system patching and software updates
- Supporting backups, disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing
- Proactively suggesting improvements/new technologies/applications that will improve business efficiency
- Researching, interpreting and implementing best practice in cyber defence and network security including ISO27001 and adhering to quality standard ISO9001
- Working with Global IT and aligning our IT infrastructure with group frameworks
What experience do I need:
- BASH and PowerShell Scripting
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with Cisco Equipment (Switches/Routers/Firewalls etc…)
- Strong Patching and Security ethos
- Build and Application packaging.
- Office 365 Administrative Experience
- Understanding and experience with the implementation of Cyber Essentials
- Ability to gather requirements, propose and implement solutions.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Experience with assisting and transformation of IT Environments to cloud-based solutions would be advantageous.
- Extensive practical experience in a hands-on environment
- Strong technical background in Windows Server, Linux RHEL/CentOS environments, VMware, Cloud Technologies, Azure and SAN Storage
- Full UK Driving License
