As part of Infrastructure engineering team, You’ll support NewDay's cloud infrastructure in Azure and be responsible for delivering core infrastructure and cloud-based VDI solutions.
0-12 months you’ll deliver
Demonstrate extensive practical and theoretical knowledge of server, Azure cloud, and cloud-based applications.
Deploy security and technical configuration to deliver Microsoft VDI and Citrix solutions.
Provide hands-on support for the Microsoft VDI system and client applications deployed on it.
Collaborate with users and IT teams to create and migrate desktop operating systems, software, and services on the VDI environment using Azure capabilities.
Test, deploy, and manage cloud-based services by following NewDay policies and standards, with the ultimate goal of improving NewDay's business development and customer experience.
Maintain and optimize Microsoft infrastructure technologies in cloud environments (VM, Storage account, Directory, DNS, Backup, DR, Monitoring)
Solve issues in operating systems, Citrix solution, Azure networking, security, and other core infrastructure components, and collaborate with third parties.
Create and maintain documentation, such as the architecture, standards, operating guides, and migration strategies, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of support teams.
Be a problem solver using technical experience to deliver innovative solutions and support the NewDay goals in secure cloud adoption.
Provide out of hours support on a rotational basis.
We need knowledge, experience + expertise in:
Knowledge and hands-on experience of VDI solution or Citrix.
Experience of software deployments and security configuration.
Extensive knowledge of core infrastructure, such as Azure IaaS, Windows OS, AD, DNS, Group Policy, File Share, Networking, and Backup.
Real-world experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure in Azure, such as Windows VMs, Recovery services, Azure backup, Azure site recovery, and Azure networking.
Familiarity with Azure management components such as Azure AD, JIT, PIM, IAM, Security Center, and Cost.
