IT Infrastructure Engineer - (Windows Server / Azure / Office 365)
Eastleigh | Hybrid (1 day a week in the office)
£60-70k pa + benefits
***Due to the nature of the role, you WILL require SC clearance for this role and need to have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years***
My client, a successful UK based company are looking for a IT Infrastructure Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
Managing both BAU and projects, you will take the lead on supporting in-house IT infrastructure and the expansion of cloud services.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day support and implementations of on-prem and hybrid cloud (MS Azure) systems
- Create and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures for on-prem and cloud infrastructure
- MS Azure expansion activities including management of Office 365 deployment
- Co-lead the drive towards infrastructure automation and integrated DevOps
You will need:
- Extensive infrastructure management experience including the configuration & management of solutions in enterprise environments
- Technical experience including MS Windows 2012 & 2016, Office 365, MS Azure, Active Directory, VMWare, Hyper-V, DevOps, Powershell
- Experience managing back-up and disaster recovery technologies as well as Infrastructure as Code
- Strong knowledge of IT Compliance, Information Security and Risk Management
