We are looking for a Fibre & Civils Supervisor to join our team. The purpose of this position is to ensure that the programme of work created is delivered safely and on time whilst meeting all necessary industry standards throughout the process.

What you'll be doing…

We are looking for a Fibre & Civils Supervisor to join our team. The purpose of this position is to ensure that the programme of work created is delivered safely and on time whilst meeting all necessary industry standards throughout the process.

The Fibre & Civils Supervisor we aim to recruit is part civils/ fibre engineer, part manager.

You will be confident in providing clear instruction to ensure planned work and production outputs are delivered.

Your teams will be building optical networks within the South East and you must enjoy travelling to visit the teams operating in the SouthEast region.

You will be reporting into the Deployment Manager and you will be responsible for all teams working across your region along with providing technical support to engineers within the region, mobilising projects, team management and managing resourcing requirements to hit targets.

You will be expected to set the highest standards, feedback on designs, techniques and the operation

We would love someone with…

Ideally we are looking for someone who has previous experience as a Fibre Supervisor as well as Civils Supervisory experience. You will have had exposure with test, rod & rope, subducting, pulling, and blowing within the telecommunications sector.

You will hold all of the relevant industry approved accreditations such as SA001, SA002, S5, S6, S7, S8 and SSSTS with a full clean driving licence.

The Fibre & Civils Supervisor will have knowledge and an understanding of Permit Schemes, experience in reading and understanding network build drawings and existing utility drawings and have a sound knowledge of cabinet commissioning and equipment.

You should show strong team ethics, be polite and courteous whilst on site and have great customer facing skills whilst having the ability to adapt to changing job environments. You will be home based but required to travel within your region and around the UK as required.
